SCRIPTURE: Various
Stephen Covey says that the easiest way to change someone’s behavior is to change that person’s title. If there is a manager who isn’t managing well, then change the title from ?Department Manager? to ?Top Dog Motivator? or something that more clearly describes the purpose of the job. As I see it, behavior changes when we get a new awareness of our purpose in whatever situation we are. What about life? Did you know that your life has a purpose?

The beginning of the year is when we all make our ?resolutions? and by now most of us have already messed up on them. We think, ?I can’t keep my commitments to myself, so why bother making them ever again.? I think I know the solution to our problems with all these commitments. Simply put, we don’t need them. There is only ONE commitment that we should make, and it is one we MUST make if we want our lives to be all they can be.

Alcoholics Anonymous is one of the most successful ?life-fixing? organizations out there, and its success is largely a result of their emphasis on community. The simple truth is that for any aspect of life change to take hold on me, I have to get connected with people who are just as committed to that life change as I am. I’m convinced there is only ONE community that can help anyone with any kind of life change he or she needs to make. Interested?

Whenever something is really messed up, I have a tendency to jump into the middle of the situation in a valiant attempt to fix it. How many times have I stopped my car, lifted the hood and gazed vainly into the middle of that vast configuration of hoses and metal only to realize that I’m hopelessly out of my league. The first step in fixing anything is to recognize when the repair is more than we can handle.

I go to church for one reason to worship my Lord Jesus. (To thank him for what he did for me and all people) It nice to fellowship with others, but the sabbath was made for man not man made for the sabbath as it is in God word. We should ask for forgiveness befor we pray (As it is said in God Word) Keep in mind that why we go to churchto WORSHIP. Thank Jerry O
