If we want to be fulfilled in life, we can’t let anything hold us back. Fulfillment comes when we live out our purpose. Our purpose is to connect other people with their Creator God, but too often we let fears hold us back from living out our purpose. In this message, I address the key ways fear affects us and the ways we can overcome it.
This message is the third in my series on fulfillment and covers one of the most deeply personal issues I’ve addressed so far at Southside Church. The bottom line claim is that pain and struggles are opportunities for us to find fulfillment as we live out our God-given purpose.
I know that’s a pretty strong claim to make, but I believe it. I’m convinced that God has a purpose for the pain we go through and when we live in the purpose, we can actually find fulfillment in our pain.
Listen up and tell me what you think.

Beginning a new series, I address the following key claim about finding fulfillment in life.
Fulfillment in life comes when you live out who you were made to be, or as I put it on Sunday, it’s when who you are is what you do.

Greetings, interesting article. There are a few people who would disagree with you, for starters take Johm MacArthur. He recently opened up his 40 year vault of messages free to the public. He has 100s of messages devoted to the 5 points of Calvinism, which he strongly supports. He also has many messages on a pre-trib rapture, which he also supports. Boice, Barnhouse, Lutzer, etc. are just a few of the well known preachers who are 5 point and pre-trib. S. Lewis Johnson, considered by some the greatest exposito of the 20th century, was also Calvinistic and believed in the rapture. So, there are a few men who have studied the scriptures far more than you and I who came to a different conclusion.
